Speaking of Breakouts Recovery Prison Ministries introduced "BREAKOUT" which has added a new dimension to the ministry..What this means is that we propose to have a YARD event at All facilities when and if at all possible. We would simply bring in several semi-professional or professional christian bands, VIC's and potential VIC's to present powerful testimonies, uplifting praise and worship, and a soul saving alter call.We will keep you posted on this..
We just recently had one of these BREAKOUTS at ICC on July 7th. Talk about BREAKING OUT. We witnessed 150 men and women make a decision for Christ. It was a fabulous event. We took in Generous amounts of delicious food that was donated by several supporters of this Ministry. We had some EXPLOSIVE music from some of our finest local Artists. We had some very POWERFUL testimonies that made an impact on several people. It was a very annointed gathering.

I found this article and thought it was good reading, so please enjoy. I hope that it ministers to your spirit as it did to mine.
For a moment or perhaps a long while,
we are dropped into the depths of despair,
a tragedy of intense proportions. In the darkness we struggle with
difficult and often confusing feelings.
As Christians we often feel guilty about these feelings. All are true
human emotions, and necessary in enabling us to cope.
God
understands our pain and our suffering.
He will wrap his loving arms around us,
He will be there when no one else can.
After
a time we begin to feel his presence.
You can see a faint light in the distance.
This
is the light of HOPE.
Moving
toward the light -The Holy Spirit takes us by the hand and helps us to
move even closer to the light. The light of the Lord that shines into each
of our lives.
Here in The Lords loving presence our souls and our wounds begin to heal.
God has a plan for us and we can rest assured that we have been called
here for a purpose. Our job is not yet finished.
We must continue to move forward.
We
might not understand the sequence of events in our lives. We might not
understand the meaning of our suffering. But we have not lost everything ,
we are not alone.
We
will always have HOPE.
As we begin this new year, let us remember that Hope was born in a manger.
We call Him Jesus the Christ!.
And
Hope does live on.
Ephesians 6:14-20
Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth,
and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit,
and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,
and on my behalf, that utterance may be given unto me in opening my mouth,
to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,
for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
